Central Tools 6554 Telescoping Gage Set

This set allows for self-centering and is used for checking valve guide wear. Its telescoping gauges are for checking slots, grooves and cylinder bores. It handles up to 5-1/2" in diameter. Both contacts release or lock by turning knob at end of handle. The measurements are read by a micrometer (not included). These are simple to use.

• 6 individual gages cover a range from 5/16” to 6”
• Spring loaded for consistent pressure
• Radiused ends for proper seating to hole wall
• Loosen handle and compress the plungers then tighten handle to lock, position inside hole and loosen handle to release the plungers. Once set properly, turn handle to lock and remove from hole, measure the distance with a micrometer or caliper
